EAA Chapter 891 is based at the Sussex Airport,
Sussex, NJ (FWN). Members participate in monthly meetings, Fly-Ins, and
support the Young Eagle program.
The principal functions of EAA Chapter 891 are to
educate and promote all aspects of aviation through the many programs developed
by the EAA Aviation Foundation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Homebuilt aircraft,
whether from plans, a kit or from scratch are of paramount importance.
Volunteer technical counselors, flight advisors, hands-on workshops, and
specialized tools are available to assist aircraft builders. Members range
from the beginner in aviation to those who have built their own aircraft
and are always willing to lend experienced help.
Chapter 891 meets at 7:30 PM on the second Thursday
of each month at the EAA trailer at the Sussex Airport. In colder months,
meetings are in the tower. To join, you don’t need to be a pilot; just be
interested in aviation!
The Chapter ByLaws
are now on the site in Adobe Acrobat format.
12 July 2009 Update: Apologies
for any email inquiries that have not been replied to. Meetings are still
held the second Thursday of the month at 7:30pm. Look for 891 Chapter
members at EAA trailer near the south end of the airport or in the airport office
(tower).
